Meum is a highly aromatic perennial plant. The leaves are fine and fern-like, and produce a strong, sweet aromatic fragrance. It is a plant of grasslands, often situated on limestone in mountain districts of Europe. Flowers are white, sometimes tinged pink. Common names include baldmoney, meu or meum, and spignel.
